With a new year around the corner and lots of entertaining to plan for, you’re probably more than ready for some kitchen upgrades. Prescott Pinnacle Construction is here to help you meet your kitchen goals for great design, better functionality, and added value. Need ideas for your project? We have a few suggestions.

Your Needs, Your Priorities

Here’s how we approach planning a successful kitchen redesign:

  1. Note issues with finishes. Stains, cracked tiles, and peeling paint: We’ll note and get to the root of any existing deterioration. We’ll get to the root of the problem and address it. Any new paint or finishes applied will be done on a stronger, more durable surface for long-lasting results.
  2. Start with what you know you need. If your family has grown, or your mobility has changed, our design and layout improvements give you more space, making the room, cabinets, and appliances more accessible and safer to use.
  3. Replace what doesn’t work (or is on its last leg). We love great aesthetics, but they won’t last without strong systems. If repeated repairs aren’t holding, it’s likely time to update plumbing and electrical systems in your kitchen. Building a better kitchen also means making sure all the appliances and fixtures (sinks, drains, dishwasher, stove, oven, and fridge) are working their best. If they’re wasting, time, money, and energy, we’ll install your preferred replacements (including Smart Home-compatible appliances).
  4. Consider us your project partner. You can use our kitchen project portfolio for inspiration, or bring us fresh new ideas. We love working with homeowners to realize their vision and bring their character into their new kitchen.

Reaching Kitchen Goals: Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions we get about kitchen remodels and upgrades.

  • How often should I renovate my kitchen? Some experts suggest remodeling your kitchen every 10-15 years. But if there’s significant deterioration, you find using the kitchen frustrating, or you just never quite loved it, it’s probably time for a change. After all, you spend time there every day. In many ways, it’s the heart of your home.
  • Is it a good investment? Yes. Kitchen remodeling can improve your home resale value (and boost your equity). Improved functionality makes your kitchen more hospitable, and even safer (if you’re getting better appliances, improving lighting, etc). Kitchen fixture upgrades prevent further water damage and deterioration. And the more you use your kitchen, the less likely you’re eating out (which could save you money over time).
  • What if a full remodel is out of my price range? We encourage folks to talk through their design and remodel priorities when they’re planning a project. We may be able to complete in stages, or focus on smaller-scale improvements (like a cabinet or flooring refresh) that still have a big impact.
  • I like bold trends, should I lean in? Sure! We love using bold colors, textures and finishes to help you make your kitchen your own. If you don’t feel ready to go bold with the whole room, we can add a pop of color to a kitchen island or an accent wall. There are so many possibilities when it comes to expressing your personality and creativity.c
